Description:   Children's Advil® Ibuprofen Oral Suspension is an alcohol-free, fruit-flavored or grape-flavored liquid specially developed for children. Each 5 mL (teaspoon) contains ibuprofen 100 mg. Each Junior Strength Advil Coated Tablet contains 100 mg ibuprofen. Each Chewable Tablet contains 50 or 100 mg ibuprofen. Each 1.25 mL of Infants' Advil Drops contains ibuprofen 50 mg.

Inactive Ingredients (Children's Advil Oral Suspension, Infants' Advil Drops):   Artificial flavors, Caroboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Citric Acid, Edetate Disodium, FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Blue No.1 (grape flavor only), Glycerin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polysorbate 80, Purified Water, Sodium Benzoate, Sorbitol Solution, Sucrose, Xanthan Gum.

Inactive Ingredients (Junior Strength Advil Tablets):   Acetylated Monoglycerides, Carnauba Wax, Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Croscarmellose Sodium, Iron Oxides, Methylparaben, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Povidone, Pregelatinized Starch, Propylene Glycol, Propylparaben, Shellac, Sodium Benzoate, Starch, Stearic Acid, Sucrose, and Titanium Dioxide.

Inactive Ingredients (Junior Strength Advil Chewable Tablets): Artificial flavor, Aspartame, Cellulose Acetate Phthalate, D&C Red #30 Lake (grape only), D&C Red No. 27 Lake (fruit only), FD&C Blue #2 Lake (grape only), FD&C Red No. 40 Lake (fruit only), Gelatin, Magnasweet, Magnesium Stearate, Mannitol, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Natural Flavors (fruit only), Silicon Dioxide, Sodium Starch Glycolate.

Indications:   Children's Advil® Ibuprofen Oral Suspension, Junior Strength Advil Tablets, Junior Strength Advil Chewable Tablets, Children's Advil Chewable Tablets, and Infants' Advil Drops are indicated for the temporary relief of fever and minor aches and pains due to the common cold, flu, sore throat (for all products except Infants' Drops), headaches and toothaches. One dose lasts 6-8 hours.

Warnings:

Allergy Allert:   Ibuprofen may cause a severe allergic reaction which may include hives, asthma (wheezing), facial swelling, shock.

Sore throat warning:   severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting may be serious. Consult doctor promptly. Do not use more than 2 days or administer to children under 3 years of age unless directed by doctor.

Do Not Use:

• if the child has ever had an allergic reaction to any pain reliever/fever reducer

Ask a doctor before use if the child has

• not been drinking fluids
• lost a lot of fluid due to continued vomiting or diarrhea
• stomach pain
• problems or serious side effects from taking fever reducers or pain relievers

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child is

• under a doctor' care for any serious condition
• taking any other drug
• taking any other product that contains ibuprofen or any other pain reliever/fever reducer

When using this product give with food or milk if upset stomach occurs.

Stop use and ask a doctor if

• an allergic reaction occurs. Seek medical help right away.
• fever or pain gets worse or lasts more than 3 days.
• the child does not get any relief within first day (24 hours) of treatment
• stomach pain or upset gets worse or lasts
• redness or swelling is present in the painful area
• any new symptoms appear

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.

If possible, use weight to dose; otherwise, use age. Measure dose with cup provided. Do not discard the measuring cup. Repeat dose every 6-8 hours, if needed. Do not use more than 4 times a day.
